Ipsen SA has appointed François Garnier, formerly international chief counsel at Pfizer Inc, to the position of executive vice president and general counsel effective 5 January 2015. Mr Garnier joined Pfizer France in April 2003 as general counsel before moving on to become chief counsel for the company’s operations in Europe. He has also served as a legal advisor to a number of other pharmaceutical companies including Rhone Poulenc Rorer and Aventis, which are now part of Sanofi SA.
Ipsen announced the appointment on 16 December 2014.
