Essential Pharma Ltd of Switzerland has appointed two new executives to manage its supply chain and oversee regulatory affairs. Fabio Zeppegno is the new head of global supply chains, bringing with him experience gained at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd in a similar role. Laura Castagno is the new director of quality assurance, regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance. She previously managed regulatory affairs at Corza Medical Inc, a manufacturer of surgical technologies.
Mr Zeppegno holds a master of science degree in procurement, logistic and supply chain from the University of Salford in the UK. Ms Castagno has a master of science degree in chemistry and pharmaceutical technology from the University of Turin in Italy.
