Medigene AG has appointed eight experts to a new scientific advisory board that will guide management on its immuno-oncology strategy. The chair of the board is Ernst-Ludwig Winnacker, a co-founder of Medigene and professor emeritus at the University of Munich. He is joined by Micha Drukker, head of a group studying pluripotent stem cells, and Irmela Jeremias, group research leader for gene vectors, at the Helmholtz Zentrum München, German Research Center for Environmental Health.
The members also include Peter Krammer from the German Cancer Research Center; Manfred Rüdiger, former chief executive of Kiadis Pharma NV; Lawrence Samelson from the US National Cancer Institute; Freda Stevenson from the University of Southampton, UK and Jolanda de Vries from the Nijmegen Centre for Molecular Life Sciences in the Netherlands
Medigene announced the appointments on 8 August 2017.
