Eliot Forster, formerly chief executive of F-star Therapeutics Inc, has joined UK-based Levicept Ltd as CEO as the company advances clinical development of its lead product for osteoarthritis and chronic pain. Simultaneously, Simon Westbrook, the company’s founder, is taking the role of chief scientific officer. Levicept’s lead programme modulates the neurotrophin pathway.
In addition to his executive position at Levicept, Dr Forster serves on the boards of Tessellate BIO Ltd, Avacta Group Plc, Ochre Bio Ltd, Protalix Biotherapeutics and Immatics NV. He holds a PhD in neurophysiology from the University of Liverpool and a master of business administration from Henley Business School, both in the UK.
Levicept announced the appointment on 30 November 2023.
