The bioindustry veteran Eliot Forster has been named chief executive officer of Immunocore Ltd of Oxford, UK to help drive development of the company’s biological drugs for cancer and viral disease. Dr Forster was previously chief executive of Creabilis SA and before that CEO of Solace Pharmaceuticals Inc. He has also served as a non-executive director to a number of emerging biotech companies and is chair of the MedCity project which is creating a life science cluster in London.
Dr Forster holds a PhD in neurophysiology from Liverpool University and an MBA from the Henley Management College in the UK.
Immunocore announced the appointment on 12 January 2015.
