Dino Dina, a director and former chief executive of Dynavax Technologies Corp, has joined the board of Anergis SA, a Switzerland-based allergy vaccine company. Dr Dina has broad experience in the research and development of vaccines for allergies, cancer and infectious disease. Prior to joining Dynavax, Dr Dina worked at Chiron Corp, eventually becoming president of Chiron Vaccines. Early in his career he worked as an assistant professor of genetics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the US. Dr Dina received his MD from the University of Genoa Medical School in Italy.
Anergis announced the appointment on 18 December 2013.
