Daniel Elger, formerly chief financial officer at e-Therapeutics Plc in the UK, has been named CFO and corporate development officer at Switzerland-based Genkyotex SA which is developing a product for diabetic nephropathy. Dr Elger holds a BA in physiological sciences (medicine) and a PhD in cancer cell biology, both from Oxford University. Before joining e-Therapeutics, he was vice president for marketing and communications at the former oncology developer Antisoma Plc.
Genkyotex announced the appointment on 11 June 2014.
