Damian Marron, an experienced life science executive, has been appointed chief executive officer of TxCell SA, a French company that is developing cell-based immunotherapies for chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Mr Marron was previously CEO of Cytheris SA and of Trophos SA and has also been executive vice president for corporate development at NicOx SA.
TxCell is targeting niche and orphan indications with its autologous antigen-specific regulatory T cell technology.
TxCell announced the appointment on 6 November 2013.
