Cytheris SA of France has appointed Damian Marron, the former chief executive of Trophos SA, as its new CEO with a mandate to accelerate the development of the company’s lead compound. The compound has been indicated for the treatment of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy and complications arising from anti-retroviral treatment.
Prior to leading Trophos, Mr Marron was executive vice president for corporate development at NicOx SA.
Cytheris announced the appointment on 12 June 2012.
