Cumulus Oncology, an investment group that specialises in incubating and launching new companies focusing on oncology, has appointed Catherine Lewis La Torre to its board. She brings over 30 years of expertise in private equity and venture capital and will support the company’s Series A financing following the close of its £9 million fundraising earlier this year. Ms Lewis La Torre was formerly chief executive of British Business Investments, British Patient Capital and the British Business Bank and has been a partner at several European private equity firms. She has a BsC in applied economics and a Masters in public administration from the London School of Economics, UK.
