The UK digital health company Congenica Ltd has appointed Tom Barber as chief scientific officer to head development of the company’s genomic analysis platform. He was most recently CSO at LifeOmic Inc, a healthcare IT company where he was responsible for preclinical and clinical research. Prior to this, he helped establish next generation sequencing at Eli Lilly and Co to identify preclinical and clinical models for personalised medicine in oncology, diabetes, neuroscience and cardiovascular disease.
Congenica announced the appointment on 3 May 2022.
