Colman Casey becomes non-executive director at Avecia Biologics

Colman Casey, a veteran of biopharmaceutical manufacturing, has been appointed non-executive director of Avecia Biologics, a private UK contract manufacturing organisation. Dr Casey was most recently general manager of Schering Plough’s Brinny facility in Ireland. He is currently director of the University College Cork Education/Training Partnership. He will retain these responsibilities alongside his new role at Avecia.
