Christian Hucke, a former executive at Grünenthal GmbH, has been named head of clinical development at Affimed Therapeutics AG of Germany. In this role he will oversee the entry of the company’s two lead antibody products into the clinic. At Grünenthal, he had responsibility for a global Phase 3 study of a pain therapy as well as a proof-of-concept Phase 2 study for diabetic neuropathy. Dr Hucke has a doctorate in biology with a focus on immunology.
