Carole Longson, a former executive director and board member at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), has joined the advisory board of the regulatory consultancy NDA Group. At NICE, she led the organisation’s technology appraisal programme. She was also president of Health Technology Assessment International.
Professor Longson has been a member of the scientific advisory committee of the Innovative Medicines Initiative in Brussels and earlier in her career, was an R&D executive at GlaxoSmithKline Plc.
NDA Group announced the appointment on 9 May 2018.
