Bob Prachar has been appointed, president US Operations, for Neuropharm Group Plc of the UK. Mr Prachar has more than 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently as head of worldwide immunology new business development and a management board member at Centocor Inc, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. He has also held management positions at Abbott Laboratories and Merck & Co.
Neuropharm is a speciality pharmaceutical company that develops medicines for neurodevelopmental disorders. It will be opening an office on the east coast of the US during 2008.
