Bharat Tewarie has joined UCB SA from EMD Serono Inc to become part of the executive team led by the new chief executive officer Jean-Christophe Tellier. Mr Tellier became CEO on 1 January succeeding Roch Doliveux. At EMD Serono Dr Tewarie led the company’s global neurology and immunology business as well as the global medical devices business. He holds an MBA from Webster University and an MD from the University of Utrecht, both in the Netherlands.
UCB announced the appointment on 13 January 2015.
