The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry has appointed Ben Osborn as its new president, succeeding Hasseb Ahmad. Mr Osborn joins the ABPI from Pfizer Inc where he spent over 20 years working most recently as UK country manager, and before that, in a senior marketing role. The ABPI said Mr Osborn will use his presidency to help the National Health Service make changes following the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as help tackle the global health problem of antimicrobial resistance.
The ABPI announced the appointment on 4 May 2021.
