BC Platforms, a healthcare data management company, has appointed the current chief operating officer Mikaela Bruhammar as interim chief executive officer within a new executive office which also includes Kaj Työppönen, chief financial officer. The change followed the move of CEO Tero Silvola to another company. He will remain a board member of BC Platforms. During Mr Silvola’s 10-year tenure at BC Platforms, the company expanded its global footprint and developed a leading position in real world data and personalised medicine. The company’s focus will be to build capacity from within and with the recent acquisitions of Medexprim and 4Pharma.
