Antoine Papiernik has become chairman of Sofinnova Partners, marking 20 years with the Paris-based venture capital company. Mr Papiernik has been lead investor in a succession of successful biotech companies including most recently Actelion Ltd which agreed to a $30 billion takeover bid from Johnson & Johnson Inc in January.
Mr Papiernik holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, US.
