Genmab A/S has recruited Anthony Mancini to the newly created position of chief operating officer to oversee its commercial, corporate and business development as the company progresses more antibody therapies for cancer towards the market. Mr Mancini most recently led the innovative medicines unit at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. He will be based in Princeton, New Jersey, US and travel regularly to Genmab’s other sites in Copenhagen, Denmark; Utrecht, the Netherlands and Tokyo, Japan. Mr Mancini holds a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from the University of Ottawa, Canada and an MBA from Clemson University, South Carolina, US.
Genmab announced the appointment on 10 March 2020.
