Targovax AS, a developer of peptide-based vaccines to treat cancer, has appointed Anne-Kirsti Aksnes as vice president of clinical development. Dr Aksnes was previously vice president for clinical research at Algeta, a radiopharmaceutical specialist acquired by Bayer in late 2013.
Also joining Targovax from Bayer is Tina Madsen. Ms Madsen has been named vice president of quality assurance, a role that she performed at Algeta and before that, at GE Healthcare.
Targovax announced the appointments on 22 January 2015.
