Amy Pott, a pharma executive with experience in public healthcare, has joined Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (Sobi) to lead its North American operations with a focus on commercialising medicines for rare diseases. Ms Pott previously worked for Shire (now Takeda Pharmaceutical) and Baxalta in the US and at Baxter International in the UK. She has also held positions at the UK technology assessment body NICE, and the membership organisation NHS Confederation.
Sobi announced the appointment on 30 April 2019.
