Allison Jeynes-Ellis, currently a non-executive director of the Health Research Authority and BioCity Scotland, has been named chief executive of Avillion LLP, a drug development company. She is replacing Lewis Cameron who has left the company. Dr Jeynes-Ellis has worked in senior positions at a number of pharmaceutical companies including Wyeth (now Pfizer Inc); Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, and Novartis. She has also been an independent consultant to government bodies and medical research charities.
Avillion announced the appointment on 18 February 2014.
