ProStrakan Group Plc has announced that Allan Watson is to become its new chief financial officer before the end of 2009, replacing Paul Garvey who is stepping down from the position. Mr Watson will be leaving his current position of CFO of the medical technology company, Optos Plc. A pharmacy graduate and a certified accountant, he has held a number of finance positions with companies both within and outside the healthcare sector.
Based in Galashiels, Scotland, ProStrakan is a specialty pharmaceutical company.
