NodThera Ltd, a UK biotech focused on diseases arising from chronic inflammation, has appointed Alison Strutt as head of finance and operations. Dr Strutt joins the company from GlaxoSmithKline Plc where she was chief financial officer for GSK’s drug discovery group as well as chief of staff to the group’s CFO. Prior to this, she led the UK merger and acquisition life sciences group at Deloitte. Dr Strutt holds a PhD in chemistry and physical chemistry from the University of Wales in the UK.
The appointment is concurrent with NodThera’s opening of an office near Boston, and a new laboratory in Seattle, US.
