Mologen AG of Germany has appointed Alfredo Zurlo, a former Roche executive, to the position of chief medical officer. In this role he will oversee the development of the company’s DNA-based cancer treatments. At Roche, he was medical director for oncology and well as senior international medical leader. Dr Zurlo obtained his medical education at the University of Rome where he served as both a university research associate and lecturer.
Mologen announced the appointment on 26 March 2013.
