Alan Goodman has joined the board of directors of Alizyme Plc as a non-executive director. At the company’s annual general meeting in July 2009, he will be nominated as chairman to replace Sir Brian Richards who is retiring.
Mr Goodman has founded or co-founded many biotechnology and healthcare companies over the last 25 years including Medeva Plc, Chiroscience Group Plc, Acambis Plc and Oxford BioMedica Plc. He is currently a member of the supervisory board of Paion AG and chief executive of Avlar BioVentures Ltd and a director of a number of private companies.
Alizyme is a late-stage biopharmaceutical company based in Cambridge, UK.
