Alison Clough, a former manager at the Quintiles unit, Innovex, has been appointed ‘director of value’ at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). In this new role, Ms Clough will work with industry, and with Britain’s health service and technology appraisal body, NICE, to establish how new medicines are evaluated for the purposes of reimbursement. Prior to working at Innovex, Ms Clough was employed by GlaxoSmithKline.
A pharmacist by training, she graduated from Nottingham University in the UK.
