4basebio appoints chief commercial officer

4basebio Plc, a developer of large-scale manufacture of synthetic DNA, has appointed Gabe Longoria as chief commercial officer. The appointment follows the completion of an issue of new shares for £40 million in late 2024 to support and expand 4basebio’s business, commercial and geographical reach and to continue innovation. With expertise in scaling commercial operations, Mr Longoria joins 4basebio after a tenure as chief commercial officer at Astrea Bioseparations where he supported the company’s doubling in revenues over three years and growing market share.
