Wellington Partners of Munich, Germany has recruited Stuart Essig, a former Goldman Sachs managing director, to become a partner for its life science practice. Mr Essig is currently chairman of the board of Integra Life Sciences, a Nasdaq-listed company which he built during his tenure as chief executive officer. Before joining Integra, he supervised the medical technology practice at Goldman Sachs. Mr Essig received an AB degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and holds an MBA and PhD degree in financial economics from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
