Verona Pharma Plc of the UK has appointed Richard Bungay as chief financial officer, initially on a part-time basis. Mr Bungay is currently part-time chief executive of Chroma Therapeutics Ltd, having previously been CFO of that company. Prior to this, he was director of corporate communications and strategic planning at Celltech Group Plc which is now part of UCB SA.
Verona announced the appointment on 5 September 2013.
