Theraclion SA of France has appointed the healthcare specialist David Caumartin as its new chief executive officer to oversee the commercialisation of its medical devices for echotherapy, a type of ultrasound treatment for benign tumours. Mr Caumartin worked for more than a decade at GE Healthcare rising to the position of global head of mammography. In 2012 he joined Alstom Thermal Power as vice president in charge of merger and acquisition strategy. He is a graduate of Telecom Paris and holds a Master’s Degree in fundamental physics from Paris Diderot University.
Theraclion has also appointed Anja Kleber, a former executive of Accuray Inc, as vice president for marketing.
