Newron Pharmaceuticals S.p.A. has promoted its chief financial officer, Stefan Weber, to become its new chief executive, effective 31 May. He will replace Luca Benatti, Newron’s founder and CEO since 1999. Besides Mr Weber, Newron’s management team will henceforth include Ravi Anand, chief medical officer; Marco Caremi, executive vice president for business development and Roberto Galli, vice president for finance.
Newron announced the appointment on 14 May 2012.
