Germany-based Molecular Health GmbH, a software provider for precision medicine, has appointed two executives to its Boston, Massachusetts office to lead an expansion on the US market. Gerry Sheridan is the new chief financial officer and Les Paul, the new chief medical officer. Mr Sheridan previously held CFO positions at both Seno Medical Instruments and GDC Technics. Dr Paul has served as the chief medical officer at Caris Life Sciences Inc and also was senior vice president for global medical affairs at InterMune Inc, which was acquired by Roche in 2014.
Molecular Health’s main product is a data warehouse comprising more than 50 discreet databases which can be queried for information relating to healthcare. The company was founded by Friedrich von Bohlen who is also managing director and co-founder of dievini Hopp BioTech Holding GmbH.
Molecular Health announced the appointments on 21 July 2016.
