Henri Termeer, the former chief executive of Genzyme Corp, has been appointed as strategic advisor to Prosensa BV of the Netherlands which is developing RNA-modulating therapeutics. Mr Termeer served as chairman, president and CEO of Genzyme for nearly three decades before retiring in 2011 when the company was acquired by Sanofi SA.
Prosensa announced the appointment on 13 December 2012.
