Eduardo Bravo, the chief executive officer of TiGenix NV, has been named president of the board of European Biopharmaceutical Enterprises (EBE), the trade association for European biopharmaceutical companies. Mr Bravo previously served as vice president of the board. He joined TiGenix in 2005 from Sanofi-Aventis and became the company’s CEO in May 2011. In addition to his role at EBE, Mr Bravo is a member of the executive committee of the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine.
TiGenix announced the appointment on 16 June 2016.
