Ardana Plc, an Edinburgh-based pharmaceutical company focused on therapies for human reproductive health, has appointed Huw Jones as chief executive officer, effective immediately.
He replaces Maureen Lindsay, who resigned as CEO and as a director of the company.
Dr Jones, who was a non-executive director of the company, has had senior management positions in the pharmaceutical industry, the most recent of which was European President of CV Therapeutics Inc. He has a PhD in pharmacology from the University of Birmingham.
