GW Pharmaceuticals Plc has appointed Christopher John Tovey to the newly created position of chief operating officer. Mr Tovey was most recently vice president of global marketing at UCB Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining UCB, he was vice president, managing director UK and Ireland at Nabi Biopharmaceuticals Inc of the US.
GW Pharmaceuticals announced the appointment on 1 October 2012.
